The vines are 15 to 20 uears old and are located on the left bank of the Cher River, south-west of Quincy. They receive a great deal of sun and are planted in prominent hillocks composed of sandy, gravely alluvial deposits that date back to the beginning of the Quaternary Period.
WORK IN THE VINEYARD
Environmentally friendly growing methods are adapted to suit each terroir.
The grapes are pressed slowly. Fermentation takes place under monitored temperatures (18°C). Aged on fine lees for a minimum of 4 months. Filtered just ince before bottling.
Pale yellow colour with green highlights.
At first the expressive nose develops into floral and citrus notes (lemon and grapefruit), then into white berries (white currants).
The taste is full and reveals a good freshness.
This is a well-balanced wine with a good aftertaste.
Enjoy with crustaceans, aspergus or goat’s cheeses.
Ideal serving temperature is between 8° to 12°C.
After pouring this wine, allow it to breathe for a few moments so that it may release all of its aromas before enjoying.
