VINIFICATION

The grapes are completely destemmed and fermented at 28°C for one week. The press wine and free-run wine is aged separately and is gently filtered before being bottled.

CHARACTERISTICS

Deep purple in colour.
Lovely, powerful, harmonious nose with floral (violet) and fruity (red berry) notes.
Bold at first opening up to softness on the palate with well-integrated tannins.
This cuvee is representative of its vintage featuring lovely ripe aromas and roundness on the palate. An overall pleasing wine that is perfect for a casual meal shared with friends.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

May be served chilled as an accompaniment to an entire meal or with pâtés, grilled fish, red meats, game, cheeses, red berry tarts.
Ideal serving temperature is between 8° to 10°C.
