SANCERRE blanc DOMAINE DES EMOIS
Situated on one of the three major soils of Sancerre composed of flint clay soil and stones (gravel).
TheDomaine des Emois covers 6.5 hectares on the hillsides in the hamlet of Amigny, a little place which is a typical vineyard with plots that are remarkably exposed, one of the high points of this appellation.
WORK IN THE VNEYARD
The vineyard was converted to organic methods in 2012.
Following cold static settling, fermentation takes place at low temperatures in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Aged on fine lees until bottling to preserve all of this wine’s freshness. Filtered only once.
This is a limpid, brilliant wine with a pale golden-yellow colour.
It displays a powerful floral aromas (white flowers) and,fruity (grapefruit, orange) on the nose.
The palate is fat and well-balanced with remarkable length and freshness on the finish.

cheese particularly the famous Crottin de Chavignol.
