40-year-old vines are planted in predominantly clay-limestone soil and benefit from south-eastern exposure.
The grapes are destemmed and fermented for 20 days under monitored temperatures. The wine is aged in tanks.
Deep red in colour with purple highlights.
Fruity nose with aromas of black fruit (blackcurrant, blackberry).
Full and round on the palate with soft, fine tannins.
The perfect match for deli meats, poultry, grilled or stewed meats, game and some cow’s milk cheeses such as camembert.
Ideal serving temperature : 15° C.
