The vineyard is located near Bourges, south of Sancerre, on gentle slopes. The soil is composed of clay and limestone overlying Kimmeridgian marls.

WORK IN THE VINEYARD

Environmentally friendly growing methods are adapted to suit each terroir.

VINIFICATION

Long fermentation lasting 15 to 18 days.

CHARACTERISTICS

Deep ruby red in colour, clear and brilliant.
Red berries, sour cherry and blackberry on the nose.
This wine boasts good structure and well-integrated tannins.
This wine’s tannic structure is an indicator of good ageing potential.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

A good match for deli meats, grilled meats and white meats.
Ideal serving temperature is between 12° and 14°C.
