VARIETAL

Pinot Noir 80 % - Gamay 20 %

TERROIR

The vines are planted in soil that is composed predominantly of Kimmeridgian marls.

WORK IN THE VINEYARD

Environmentally friendly growing methods are adapted to suit each terroir.

VINIFICATION

The grape are completely destemmed and fermented for 10 days under monitored temperatures.
After malolactic fermentations is complete, the wine is aged for 10 months in oak barrels with a proportion of 30% new oak.

CHARACTÉRISTICS

Very deep ruby red.
The nose starts with red berry notes then fragrances of roasted coffee and toast appear.
The attack is full, with a woody finish and a spicy detail. The final taste ends with well-rounded tannins and slightly sweet hints.
